DOES IT STILL MAKE SENSE TO MARRY FOR LOVE??

In an economy where POVERTY, SUFFERING and DIVORCE is on the rise, wouldn't it make sense if we went back to a time when marriage was done for money and status instead of love? 

If Divorce is at 50%, Unemployment close to 7% and Human Suffering at an all time high, WOULDN'T IT MAKE MORE SENSE TO MARRY FOR MONEY???

WOULD YOU ALLOW YOUR 14YR OLD DAUGHTER TO HAVE A BOYFRIEND???

A lot of people are making New Year's Resolutions, but this New Year's Resolution from one of our fans caught us off guard. See Below...      
                
       Hey Guys...My New Year's Resolution is to allow my 14yr old daughter to have a boyfriend. She's been hounding me for most of 2013 and I've now decided to allow it. What do you think? Would you allow your 14yr old daughter to have a boyfriend?

Bryan says: Lady, if that's the best resolution you could come up with, I'm worried about you. What about being a better mother to your daughter, being a better person or losing weight? Aren't these typical resolutions that people make? Do you have any idea how happy you've made the 14, 15, and 16 year old boys at her school, church, or sports club? C'mon lady, at 14, your daughter needs to be focused on SCHOOL and not BOYS.

Your 14yr old and her boyfriend...what are they looking at? SMH :(

Munch says: OMG Bryan, the dark ages have been over for centuries now. We're in 2014 for crying out loud. When are parents like "YOU," going to realize that.....what our parents did with us won't work with these teenagers? MY PARENTS never had to compete or deal with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or SEXTING. And if we're going to be parenting in 2014, then we're going to need a 2014  mentality. Would I allow my 14yr old daughter to have a boyfriend, ABSOLUTELY. I want to be the one educating her on relationships, on what to expect, on what boys want, and on what VALUES and PRINCIPLES our family stands for. But you can continue to live under a rock Bryan. Let's hope when you're ready to come out, your backward thinking hasn't cost you a relationship with your daughter.

Bryan says: Munch let's just get right to it....this is all about SEX. The reason why PARENT'S LIKE ME don't want their 14yr old daughters having a boyfriend is because we don't want them having SEX. Doesn't mean that all of them will, but that's not a chance that I want to take. I don't think at 14, you have the emotional maturity to deal with a relationship that could lead to SEX. Now I can talk to my daughter and educate her on a number of things, but HUMAN NATURE, CURIOSITY, and PEER PRESSURE are things that we can't control. So call me BACKWARDS or whatever you want to call me, but if the government is not willing to give my 14yr old a license to drive...I don't see why I have to give her a license to date or have a boyfriend.

Munch says: LOL...You're crazy Bryan, I think it's all about teaching personal and family values and TRUSTING that the lessons you taught were well learned...but let's see what our readers think.
